Are You Listed in SmallFactor.com?

Attention small factors! Is your company included in the Factor Listing of SmallFactor.com? It can be a great source of referrals and it’s FREE!

What’s more, if you have a deal you can’t do, chances are someone on the listing will be interested in it. Find an appropriate referral and make the call. Bookmark the page!

The number of people on the Listing is steadily growing, so be sure you’re included. Additions since our last issue include
Lexus Funding Solutions of St. Louis, MO, and GR Funding of Gainesville, FL.

Requirements are that you:

  • are presently purchasing receivables (not just planning to, or brokering only)
  • accept accounts factoring less than $10k per month.
  • Pay a 5% broker referral fee to SmallFactor.com when you book business through your listing.

New Books from Dash Point Publishing

As you know, this year Dash Point Publishing has released several new factoring books which have been well received. With this anniversary issue of FactorTips, I’m pleased to announce the recent publication of another book which can have very beneficial results for small factors and broker consultants, plus the release of two more books this month!

The most recently published is book 4 of The Small Factor Series,
Unlocking the Cash in Your Company : How to Get Unlimited Funds without a Loan. This book is written for potential factoring clients who may be unfamiliar with factoring. Easy to read and understand, this 164-page book introduces business owners to factoring and provides a road map to follow as they determine if factoring will help their business, what to look for in a factor, what to ask a factor, and much more.

While offered to the public on Amazon and Dash Point Publishing’s web site, Unlocking the Cash is also available in quantity discounts only from Dash Point Publishing. With orders of 50 or more, factors and broker consultants can have a special edition printed with their logo or company name on the cover, the first two pages reserved for their unique message, and if desired, the chapter “How to Find a Factor” omitted. Details of this offer can be found
here. Providing this book to prospects and referral sources can be a very good way to boost your marketing efforts.

In addition, two new books are being released in the coming weeks.
Factoring Small Receivables 6th edition, which fits in snugly as Book 2 in The Small Factor Series, will be available in mid-May. You’ll find some very appealing aspects of this new release described in the Announcements section above. The new eBook of the 6th edition is currently being created and will be ready at approximately the same time the paperback becomes available.

Within a week of Factoring Small Receivables’ rollout you’ll also be able to purchase
Factoring Wisdom: Short Sayings and Straight Talk for New & Small Factors. This new paperback is a collection of brief quotes from all four books in The Small Factor Series as well as from several FactorTips articles. This little publication includes scores of topics arranged alphabetically, each with noteworthy maxims from the above resources. Factoring Wisdom gives a thumbnail sketch of what’s in the books for those who haven’t read them, and provides memorable sayings any small factor or broker consultant will do well to remember in the course of factoring small business receivables.

The eBook for Factoring Wisdom is available now for purchase
here. The eBook is also given away free when you sign up for FactorTips from this or any other Dash Point-related web site.

At present I’m making final preparations for my presentations at the ACFA Cash Flow convention in Dallas the end of this month. I hope you’ll be there! Each book in the Small Factor Series, as well as Factoring Wisdom , will be available in the bookstore there. Those wishing to purchase a combination of these books will find good discounts when purchased together on the
Small Factor Series Bundle page of Dash Point Publishing.

Following the convention in Dallas, you can expect Dash Point to release still more new resources to help your factoring business. Now is a great time to be starting – or continuing – to earn great returns as a small factor while helping small businesses improve their cash flow. These materials are designed and intended to help you provide the best service possible.

As more small businesses learn about factoring and more small factors emerge to fund them, the positive effects that having adequate cash provides to these firms and their local economies will be felt. It’s great to be a part of this industry, especially as it reaches further down to very small businesses, which are the heart and soul of our country.

Need help with your marketing? Consider this:

“I thought I was pretty comfortable talking about my business, but Kendall SummerHawk's three tape series, ‘What to Say if You Hate to Sell,’ has taken me to a whole new level of ease and service. I am so impressed. Kendall shows exactly how to have a respectful, authentic, thoughtful conversation with prospects.

She tells you exactly how to talk about your fees. She demonstrates how to have a conversation that results in people asking if they can hire you (how would you like that!?). Kendall's tapes have simplified, focused, and energized my approach to selling. Start getting the business you've always dreamed about.”

Kendall’s tapes can be purchased from her site by clicking
here. They are also a part of the Small Factor Collection available from Dash Point Publishing. Her tapes are sold separately by DPP, as well.
